Well, we're in the surgical waiting area now...she's been in surgery for about an hour and a half at this point. I'm trying to keep my mind occupied and distracted, so the computer is helpful. We should be hearing from the nurse again shortly, but when she last called, Bailee was doing well.
She was a little apprehensive when she had to put on the hospital gown and socks, but she relaxed a little when Patrick and I donned ours. We were even able to get a little smile out of her. When they were ready for her, I rode on the bed with her to the door of the operating room where we had to leave her with the doctors and the nurses.

We've already had our first visitors: Pastor Tony came to see her, and both sets of grandparents are here with us now. We know she's in good hands, and we'll keep updating as information comes available to us. Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Patrick and Brooke
