Bailee Update: Monday PM

Well, we are resting now...She's pretty tired from all the medications and goings-on of today. After her three-hour surgery, we got to go back to the recovery room with her, where she was extremely groggy and just wanted her Mommy and Daddy. They've now moved us to a room (5601) on the Pediatric Cancer floor because of over-crowding on the other floors. Once she woke up, she was perky and actually mustered a smile or two. We were excited that she had kept graham crackers and apple juice down for about 2 hours, but she later got sick, and so they've now given her something to suppress her nausea, which has made her sleepy again.

We are very fortunate to have amazing nurses and doctors taking care of us! And we are so lucky to have wonderful friends and family supporting us! Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we still have a long road ahead of us....We will keep you posted as we continue to make progress.
