Bailee turned TWO on Saturday, February 28th, and to celebrate, we had all of our friends and family over for a party. Unfortunately, the weather didn't want to cooperate, and we resorted to Plan B: activities in the garage. Because she's his #1 fan, we had an Elmo-themed party. Always the teacher, I set up different stations to occupy the kids: cookie decorating, coloring, and face painting. Some of the kids, however, preferred to play in the rain and got soaked but loved every minute of it! Considering the tight quarters, things went well! There were people in every square inch of our house and garage! At one point, Eli was sitting in the fireplace because there was nowhere else to sit! Despite the but we are so thankful for our wonderful friends and family that came out on such a nasty day to celebrate our daughter! We love you all very much!

We were looking at Bailey's birthday pictures and out of the blue kate started pointing to the birthday cake and saying MELMO!!! I could not believe it. We went to an Elmo party last week and have one Elmo book but for some reason that red furry creature already has her hooked!
