We've been studying the Roaring 20s in our social studies classes, so being that today was a half-day, we (my partner-in-crime, Robin and I) decided it would be a good day for something different! We set up three stations: jazz, silent films, and a speakeasy. She and I taught approximately 120 5th graders how to dance the Charleston, and we had a BLAST! "Snake" and "Johnny" (aka Trevor and Quinn) hosted the session on jazz, and Pam dressed as Charlie Chaplin to teach about silent films. It was a great morning!
I LOVE working with this fantastic, motivated, passionate group of teachers!!!
