As a teenager, the worst thing anyone could say is "You are so much like your mother!" At that age, you're trying to find your own way, and the last thing you want to be is like THAT person!
A few years have passed, and now I've come to realize that the one person I want to be like is THAT person! My mom set a pretty great example for me to follow...she is a wonderful teacher; a fun, hip, stylish mom; a terrific listener; an advisor and counselor; an expert at making marriage work; a ball of energy; fiesty and determined; stern, but always out of love; an awesome FiFi; and the best friend I could ask for! She knows me inside and out. We have a lot more in common than I once realized, and with each day, I have more and more respect for her!
I never knew how much I could love a person until I had a child of my own. And while I know that 15 years or so from now, Bailee will probably dread hearing those words "You are so much like your mother!" maybe one day she'll look back upon our relationship, and think "That's the one person I want to be like!".JPG)

This is a sweet post...almost made me cry when thinking about my mom. You're a great mother, and I'm sure Bailee will think of you as "that person" one day. :)
What a great post...I too am so glad that I am "THAT Person" today...having a little one does make you see how blessed you are to have the parents you have. Thanks for such a great thought for the day.
