Too funny not to share!
We are down in Edisto for the week....relaxing and well, relaxing. Everyone's inside the house napping, so I take my two youngsters out to sit on the dock by the creek. Here's how our conversation went:
Bailee: "Mommy, what are those balls floating in the water?"
Me: "Those are buoys, Bailee."
Bailee: "Mommy, Mommy. Gotta tell you something. These are boobies." (lifting her shirt and pointing to what will later develop.)
Me: "No, not booBies. Boo-ees."
Bailee: "Oh, buoys. Booties?" (pointing to her bottom)
Me: "No, Bailee. Not booTies. Boo-ees."
Bailee: "Mommy, I gotta go Stinky." (Thus ending our educational trip to the dock.)
Ain't life as a parent GRAND?!?! :)
