On Wednesday, I got quite a surprise! I was actually meeting with the lady that is going to be my long-term substitute, and in walks my mom. She loves to come and visit my classroom, so this didn't really shock me, but because we hadn't planned anything or spoken of her coming, I was a little suspicious. I asked her what she was doing there, and she responded, "I had a hankering to see you." She walked over to my desk and placed a bag of candies on it, and said she wanted to bring me a little something. When I looked at it closely, the bag contained caramels made in Montana. Made in Montana?!?! As soon as I saw that, I asked jokingly "What else did you bring me from Montana??" at which point, she walks out into the hallway and in walks my brother Reed and his wife Kathryn. Okay, I probably don't need to tell you that the tears were flowing!!! The funniest thing about it all was that I was dressed in rags for our Great Depression day, and I looked HORRIBLE!!!! We got quite a kick out of the entire situation! So Reed and Kay-Kay (as Bailee lovingly calls her) are here until next Tuesday!!! YAY for a wonderful surprise!!!!
Weeks like this serve as a wonderful reminder of how great God truly is! I am constantly reminded of how fortunate we are! We have a wonderful family, a beautiful daughter, and pretty soon, we'll have an amazing SON! We are so fortunate to have great friends who are just as eagerly awaiting Peanut's arrival as we are! And as soon as he's here, we'll let you all know! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and the next time I post, we hope to have some pictures of our baby boy!
